The special residence, located in a heathland, blends seamlessly with the surrounding. The house has become part of the existing undulations of the landscape. The curved lines of the paths accentuate these undulations and provide connectivity between the various elements in the landscape garden. The paving consists of semi-paved surfaces, creating a natural appearance. Height differences are accommodated by corten steel retaining walls, which follow the contours of the landscape.

The planting will consist of native trees, shrubs, perennial and bulbs. Attention has been paid to the species that are native to the area. Also, consideration is given to the added value of the species to the environment, especially for fauna. By strategically constructing a small ditch, rainwater from paved areas and buildings is directed to a natural swimming pond. In addition to the natural swimming pond, the house includes a jacuzzi, integrated into a seating element.

In short, the new house and the landscape will seamlessly merge and form a pleasant unity.
